It’s fair to say that No Man’s Sky has ended up as one of the most hyped videogame releases of all time, which puts a fair bit of pressure on indie developer Hello Games.
UNILAD recently met with studio founder and No Man’s Sky grand creator Sean Murray, where he explained what the game is, and what the hell you’re actually meant do in such a massive universe.
Murray also discusses a number of plans Hello Games has for the ambitious project further down the line – check out the interview below.
After years in development and following numerous delays, No Man’s Sky is finally coming to PlayStation 4 (August 9 for US and 10 for Europe) and PC on August 12.
Ewan Moore is a journalist at UNILAD Gaming who still quite hasn’t gotten out of his mid 00’s emo phase. After graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BA in Journalism & Media Studies (thanks for asking), he went on to do some freelance words for various places, including Kotaku, Den of Geek, and TheSixthAxis, before landing a full time gig at UNILAD in 2016.
