Disney’s Maker Studios have announced a new YouTube channel called Revelmode, to be fronted by Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and a host of other internet stars.
The channel will be a mixture of original videos, community features and charity streams, starring the likes of PewDiePie, CutiePieMarzia, EmmaBlackery and Markiplier, complete with their own cartoon avatars.
The channel will also serve as a platform for content creators on places like YouTube and Facebook to have their work seen by a larger audience, and maybe get famous themselves.
Speaking to Variety, PewDiePie said:
The idea of Revelmode was built from my own experiences and will aim to bring together an Avengers-like talent squad to work and grow a business together.
[Revelmode will create] one-off videos to original series to gamey games to animations, music, clothes, charity drives, and more–really anything that’s awesome in the eyes of the fans.
