If November had a face, the majority of the world would want to punch it. Dark, dreary, and basically nothing more than a waiting period between Halloween and Christmas – who needs it?
Ah well, at least we have a fresh batch of PlayStation Plus games to look forward to, and there are some real gems this time around.
As usual, there are six games across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. While there are normally two per console, the miracle of cross-platform compatibility means PS4 gamers effectively get four free games.
The excellent indie title Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture joins top-down shooter Deadly Tower of Monsters as the ‘main’ PS4 games, while the Vita’s offerings – Letter Quest Remastered and Pumped BMX+ – will also be playable on PS4.
Pumped BMX+ can also be played on PS3, bringing the total of free games on that console to a respectable three. Costume Quest 2 and Dirt 3 round up that particular trifecta.
As always, this fulsome lineup of titles will be available to PS Plus subscribers on the first day of the month. This gives you till Tuesday, November 1 to pick up October’s games, which includes Resident Evil, and Transformers Devastation.
