Pornhub/Epic GamesLike Twitter and Spotify, Pornhub enjoys looking back on the year by celebrating its biggest trends of 2018. This year has been a particularly memorable one for gamers, it seems.
According to the Pornhub Year In Review, 54 percent of console searches come from PlayStation 4, while Xbox One users account for 33 percent. There’s no data for Switch users since the console’s browser is locked. Presumably Nintendo gamers have been getting their jollies to Smash Bros trailers instead.
Nintendo As for the searches that defined Pornhub in 2018? Well, I’m sure you won’t be surprised to learn that Fortnite easily found its way into the top 10 trending searches for 2018, second only to Stormy Daniels herself. No idea why she could possibly have taken the top spot.
In third place we have 4K, which I can only assume was PC and Xbox One X gamers getting the most out of their devices. The rest of the list -which you can see below – contains romance, trans, outdoor, tattoos, and that old favourite; threesome.
Gaming rears its head once again towards the bottom of the top 10 however, as Bowsette makes an appearance. If you weren’t around for that whole weird Bowsette meme, I recommend you hang on to your ignorance.
PornhubIn terms of raw (ew) numbers, Pornhub bragged 33.5 billion unique visits in 2018, with 92 million visits on average a day. That is, they claim, the population of Canada, Australia, and Poland every day.
I don’t know how that makes me feel, but I’m not sure its good.
Meanwhile, VG24/7 notes that the infamous Bowsette was the most searched gaming character, closely followed by Overwatch’s Bridgette. Apparently even Pikachu managed 280k searches.
I do know how to feel about that. I feel sad.
