In true Rockstar fashion, Red Dead Redemption 2 has more easter eggs and secrets than you can shake a Stetson at – including one that calls back to a vintage GTA easter egg.
Anyone who played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas growing up will doubtless have sunk hours trying to track down the elusive Bigfoot – the mythical creature was never actually in that game, but that didn’t stop the rumour spreading like wildfire.
Rockstar decided to have some fun with Sasquatch in subsequent titles of course – there are references to the beast peppered throughout the first Red Dead Redemption, as well as GTA IV and GTA V.
Never a company to let the fans down, Rockstar has continued this grand tradition. Bigfoot can indeed be found lurking in the massive world of Red Dead Redemption 2, and you can even have a chat with the hairy devil.
As it turns out, the ape-like creature is actually pretty lonely hanging out in the Wild West. So lonely in fact, that he refuses to come out and speak to you, meaning no one has found a way to see him in the flesh (or fur) just yet.
If you want to seek out Bigfoot for yourself in Red Dead Redemption 2, all you have to do is study 30 animals in the game, then head to the very North of the map. There, look for a swirling flock of birds located by Calumet Ravine.
Follow said birds till you reach a cave that’s just out of reach. This is where Bigfoot hangs out, and if you’ve done everything right he should strike up a convo with your good self.
You can even head back a few days later and he’ll have some new things to tell you – including how he’s missed you. Bless. Check out the video below if you want the exact location and details.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is hiding plenty of supernatural secrets, including multiple UFOs. Who knows what else is lurking out in the wilds, waiting to be discovered.
