Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 24 hours, you’ll know that Red Dead Redemption 2 has finally been officially announced. You’ll also know that at present, it’s only coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
Naturally, this news has left PC owners kinda miffed. There was no mention of a PC version in the official announcement or in the press release from Rockstar themselves, which has led some PC players to take matters into their own hands.
There’s already a petition to get Rockstar to make a PC version, which at time of writing has nearly 15,000 signatures. You can check it out and give it your scribble here.
The original Red Dead Redemption never made the transition from console to PC, despite other Rockstar titles eventually getting a port. GTA V took a whopping 19 months to take the plunge so there is some hope, though with the console release date already set for Fall 2017, a similar pattern would put a PC release somewhere around March 2019. Let that sink in for a second.
A small selection of tweetings is enough to get an idea of just how upset people are.

And Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't coming to PC so I don't care about it anymore. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

"Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out November 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One" I'm fucking calling it, they'll fuck PC players off as usual.

Well, quite a disappointed bunch we have there, then. Still, like I said, just because they haven’t announced it right now, doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Keep those fingers crossed folks.
