These days, it’s not easy to get on the property ladder – but Capcom intend to give gamers a helping hand through their new Resident Evil 7 collector’s edition.
The developer recently announced a pricey $179.99 (about £144) set that includes a replica of Resident Evil 7’s Louisiana plantation mansion, which also serves as a music box.
Unfortunately, the replica mansion only comes in at about eight inches, making it suitable living space only for ants, dust mites, and freakishly small zombies.
Still, you could probably give it to a London estate agent, and they’d manage to flog it to a young working couple based in the city for about ten times the price.
Hilarious jokes about the dire state of London’s housing crisis aside, the collector’s edition also comes with a copy of the game (obviously), and a 4 GB USB stick in the shape of a severed finger – guaranteed to drive off any work friends forever.
There’s also an exclusive steelbook metal case, a VHS tape box (no idea why), and a lithograph featuring the Baker family and a ‘creepy note.’
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017.
