Somebody stop this damn rumour mill before it spins out of control and kills us all.
Recent rumblings around Bethesda’s E3 press conference suggested that we’ll be seeing a Skyrim remaster, complete with mod support and all DLC.
Not only have Eurogamer now backed this particular rumour up, they’ve also heard that Bethesda will announce The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 and that they’ll re-announce Prey 2. I need to sit down.
Prey 2 is said to be completely different beast to the game we saw back in 2011. Eurogamer reports that it’s essentially been entirely reworked by Dishonored developer Arkane.
Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 was previously hinted at when a voice actor from the first game revealed she was working on a second game in the series.
Finally, The Evil Within 2. Eurogamer hasn’t actually heard anything concrete about this one – apparently it’s just kind of expected. Fair enough then.
All we know for certain with regards to Bethesda’s E3 conference at the moment is that they’ll be showing off the first gameplay footage of Dishonored 2.
You can catch Bethesda’s E3 show on June 12 at 3am (UK time). Best get the coffee on.
