Sony have been surveying Playstation 4 users about what they want to see on the console in the upcoming 4.0 system update.
The survey – posted to NeoGaf – is by invite only, but gives a pretty good overview of what might be heading to the console in the next big update.
Among the possible features are: Notifications when friends come online, PS1 & PS2 classics in the Playstation store, customised backgrounds and the ability to change your PSN ID.
Also included in the survey, is a question asking when people expect to the update heading their way. The 3.0 firmware update released on September 30 and bought such features as the ability to share videos to Twitter, tweaked YouTube streaming and an increase in online storage for PS Plus members.
The survey is unfortunately not available to everyone – unless you can find a link – but it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that all of these features will be heading to the Playstation 4 in the future – because let’s face it, why wouldn’t you want all of this stuff? Saying that, it probably won’t be until at least early next year, as it’s still so close to the last update.
