I don’t know if you’ve heard guys, but the final season of Game of Thrones is here at last. I know it’s all been pretty low key, and people are really talking about it, but it is happening.
Sarcasm aside, the last few episodes of boobs and dragons is of course a huge deal. To celebrate, Sony is giving away free Game of Thrones content to PS4 owners in the US; two avatars and a pretty sexy little theme.

All you need to do is head over to Sony’s website and sign in to your PSN account. From there, you can watch three videos, each of which will give you give you one of the free gifts for watching them in the form of a code.
Take the code and redeem it on the PlayStation Store to claim your shiny new loot. Once again, I must point out that this is currently US only, probably because Sony and HBO hate the rest of us.
This promotion comes hot on the heels of a wonderful new (and free) God of War theme, which was recently made available in the run up to the 2018 Game of the Year’s first anniversary.
While the idea of a week-long celebration for God of War is pretty exciting, don’t get your hopes up for any new content besides the free theme. It’s very unlikely (pretty much impossible, actually) that we’ll be getting any DLC for the game.
Previous plans for God of War DLC were reportedly shelved for being too ambitious, and I imagine Cory Barlog and his team want to hold something back for the inevitable sequel.
