In news that you probably saw coming, a game that was meant to come out this year has been delayed until next year. Unfortunately, it’s the awesome looking South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
Ubisoft announced the news that will see the follow up to 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth pushed back from December 6 to Q1 2017.
Still, it’s not all doom and gloom as the devs stated that it has been delayed in order to “meet the high expectations of fans”, so an extra couple of weeks to polish it up shouldn’t put to many people’s noses out of joint.
Ubi have been going hard on the marketing for South Park, leading them to dream up the half amazing, half disgusting Nosulus Rift, which allows you to smell farts as you play the game. To be honest if I wanted that I could just hang out at my Grandad’s house but, each to their own.
While you’re waiting for The Fractured But Whole, you could spend your time replaying the excellent Stick of Truth. Gotta fill the gap somehow I guess.
