Square Enix Boast ‘Biggest Ever Lineup’ For Gamescom 2016

Square Enix has unveiled its grand plans for Gamescom 2016, the annual event dedicated to – would you believe – videogames.

According to the publisher, this will be the biggest ever line-up presented at Gamescom. Apparently we can expect more than 220 hands-on stations, and a respectable 1,100 square meters of booth space – that’s a whole lot of booth space.

As was the case last year, Square Enix can be found in two booths at Gamescom 2016. The main booth will feature hands-on stations for the publisher’s upcoming titles, while the second booth will be dedicated to an event called Final Fantasy XIV: Battle Arena.

It’s in this second booth that gamers will be able to test their skills against all the powerful primals featured in XIV to win all kinds of fabulous prizes.

As for the games that Square Enix will be showing off at the event, we can look forward to Deus Ex: Mankind DividedDragon Quest Builders, Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XV, Hitman, Kingom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and World of Final Fantasy.

Gamescom will run from August 19 to 21, and you can bet Square Enix will have a few tricks and surprises planned, so stay tuned.
