Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming to PS4 and PC after the timed exclusive on Xbox One is over.
PC users will get the game on Microsoft 10 and Steam in early 2016, while the game will be a console exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360 for a full year before coming to Playstation 4 in ‘Holiday 2016’.
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics were at the centre of a huge controversy earlier this year when they announced the Xbox exclusive, as Tomb Raider has historically been a Playstation title.
The new title will serve as a sequel to the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider reboot, and will see Lara Croft coming into her own as the titular explorer. The story will revolve around a maturing Lara tracking a group known only as ‘Trinity’ as they search for the secret of immortality in the far reaches of Siberia. Available on November 10th on Xbox One and Xbox 360 – check out 14 minutes of gameplay footage from Rise of the Tomb Raider below.
