Games that get constantly delayed get delayed for a reason: because they’re not ready, or because they’re not good. Unfortunately, it’s usually a mixture of both *cough* Watchdogs *cough*. But looking at what developer’s Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne, Alan Wake) have done with Quantum Break, it’s set to… break… the mould.

The Microsoft briefing at Gamescom (what else) has been the stage for Quantum Break to show the world it’s teeth, and it’s packing some serious acting talent. The story-driven, time-bending action game stars Shawn Ashmore (Iceman from X-Men) as Jack Joyce, who has to reverse the time travelling escapades of one Aidan Gillen – aka, Littlefinger from Game of Thrones – after they go horribly wrong. Do they ever go horribly right?

Also featuring Dominic Monaghan and Lance Reddick, Quantum Break has a lot to deliver on its release date. Check out the full gameplay trailer below.
