According to a post on the official site, EA’s Star Wars Battlefront is getting a slew of new content in the months to come. We already knew this of course, but the big news is the two new characters coming to the game.
One is the bounty hunter Dengar (who I still had to Google, despite loving Star Wars). The second is none other than Lando motherfucking Calrissian.
Lando (and that other guy) will be coming to the game as part of the second expansion in June for all season pass holders. Four new maps will also take players “in and around Cloud City” – so it makes sense to add Lando to the mix at this point.
This should come as a nice surprise for fans who are still pissed about the last two characters that were added to the game. Greedo and Nien Nunb were introduced to the Star Wars shooter last month, and can at best be described as C list characters.
EA also promise that there are some “cool activities” planned for Star Wars day (May the 4th, naturally), but aren’t revealing any details on that just yet.
They also intend to release more options for those playing Star Wars Battlefront offline, something sorely lacking from the game at the moment.
