If you’re still playing Star Wars Battlefront, then you can look forward to some morsels of free DLC heading to the game soon.
According to a new video released by EA Brazil – kindly translated by WCCFTech – Battlefront is getting a map set on Tatooine, and a couple of new costumes for Luke and Leia. It’s also thought that Daily Challenges, Private Matches and Special Community Events will be added in the new update.
Don’t say EA never give you anything..
The free stuff is not considered to be part of the planned season pass DLC that EA have been hiding away from prying eyes, and will be available to all as soon as it drops. It’s worth pointing out that EA’s other regions have not yet confirmed the freebies.
Outside of the costumes and map, EA have previously confirmed that the season pass DLC will include:
– Over 20 new items, including weapons, vehicles, and Star Cards for both Rebels and Imperials.
– 4 additional Heroes and Villains.
– 16 new multiplayer maps featuring “new locations.”
– 4 new game modes.
EA and Dice caused a miniature shit-storm when they announced Battlefront would be sticking a pretty hefty price on said season pass.
There’s no news on when the free stuff will be available, only that the game’s next update will be released “before the end of the month.”
