Star Wars: Battlefront’s New Conquest-Like Mode ‘Supremacy’ Is Going To Be Huge

As we get ever closer to its November release date, EA and Dice have given us more information on Star Wars: Battlefront‘s massive ‘Supremacy’ game mode.

If you’re a fan of Battlefield, you’re likely to be a fan of its super-massive Conquest mode, where one team must control all the specified points and grind down their enemy until they’re broken and paste-like.

‘Supremacy’ will have vast open maps where players must work as a team to dominate five points and hold them until the 10-minute timer hits zero. Each team will start off owning two control points and must battle for the coveted fifth point to be in with a chance of advancing. This tactic will inevitably turn to shit once the enemy flanks you and captures your owned control points while nobody is looking. Sneaky buggers.

Battlefront‘s lead level designer, Dennis Brännvall, described the frantic action, saying:

When you spawn into Supremacy, you don’t have to move far to see a lot of friends – and enemies. You’re thrown into a massive frontline, where your screen is filled with adversaries: infantry, Heroes, Walkers, and starfighters. You can prepare for very heavy and focused Star Wars action.

‘Supremacy’ will include all vehicles and heroes available in other game modes, so expect to be pulverised by the likes of X-wings, TIE fighters, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. To get you back in the mood for some Star Wars action, you can check out the reveal trailer below.

Star Wars: Battlefront is due November 19 in the UK on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it just keeps getting better with every added feature. ‘Excited’ doesn’t even come close.
