After floating around in the ether like so many midichlorians for what seems like a lifetime, Respawn’s hotly anticipated Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order finally has a reveal date, and it’s actually really bloody soon.
EA announced that the game will have its official reveal on April 13 at this year’s annual Star Wars Celebration which runs from April 11-15.
According to The Star Wars Show, the game will be revealed on the Saturday during a special panel that will “feature a discussion of never before heard details ahead of the game’s fall 2019 release date.”
Yes you heard that right, alongside a reveal date we also have a tentative release window.
In the immortal words of Han Solo when he came screaming in to save Luke’s hide in the Battle of Yavin: Yahooooo!
So what do we actually know about Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order? Well, turns out, only little bit.
The game will take place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, which has you playing as a Jedi Padawan who survived the culling of Order 66.
That’s all she wrote at the moment, but Star Wars fans will be waiting with bated breath for April 13, but I think everybody who has even a passing interest will be willing EA not to make a pig’s ear of this one.
Please EA. Please.
