It seems Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, the mysterious new game from Titanfall developer Respawn, has just sprung a leak as new story details and a release window have emerged online.

Reddit user Xyzsvtabc claims to have recently attended a Star Wars marketing presentation by Disney, where they were treated to a look at some art and details regarding a bunch of Star Wars related projects throughout 2019.

You can head over to their post to find out a bit about Episode 9, and The Mandalorian live-action TV show, but we’re here to focus on Jedi Fallen Order, which is apparently slated for a November 2019 release.

Obviously take this information with a pinch of salt, but the claim is that Fallen Order is set five years after Revenge of the Sith and takes place in the dark times between Episodes III and IV.

This tallies with what Respawn previously said regarding their Star Wars game and its place in the timeline, and we’d also previously heard talk of a holiday 2019 release window.

Xyzsvtabc goes on to say:

The main character whose name is Cal (I forget his last name). He’s was a padawan that survived the efforts to kill all of the remaining Jedi. Not a ton of gameplay info but some of the other story lines are that he has a mentor figure who is a woman named Ceres. The only other thing I remember is them talking about other characters they would come across from some of the comics. The mentioned the 9th sister and 2nd sister? Something about Inquisitors? I wish I could remember more about this. They showed a ton of artwork.

I’ll be honest, I’m fully here for the idea of a Star Wars game that lets me play as a Jedi on a quest to avenge his fallen order after the massacre of Revenge of the Sith.

I’m also intrigued by the mentions of characters like the Ninth Sister and Inquisitors, given we’ve never really seen this more obscure characters in the films or games.

Disney

If this all does turn out to be true, then Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order could be the game hardcore fans have been waiting for.
