Besides being the smallest console to come from Xbox, it’s what’s under the hood that will impress gamers both hardcore and enthusiasts alike.

Powered by a 6 Teraflop GPU clocked at 1.172GHz, 12GB of GDDR5 memory, and 326GB/s of memory bandwidth, the new Xbox One X will run 4K games buttery smooth.

If those tech specs mean nothing to you, what you can expect ‘True 4K’ meaning 8+ million pixels, HDR, Wide colour gamut, premium Dolby Atmos sound and it even supports 4K UHD Blu-ray playback.

For those who doesn’t have a 4K TV to play the new Xbox One X games with, Xbox is using a technique called supersampling, it means a welcomed improved 1080p output.

Labelled the most advanced console processor ever, the new custom chip has liquid-cooled vapour chamber and features an optimised power management system. For the best level of efficiency, it’s also built on a 16nm process technology.

For backwards compatibility, all Xbox One accessories and games will work on the new Xbox One X – and you will also be able to play some of the original Xbox games too. For now, we know that the Xbox One X will be available on the 7th of November priced at $499 and £449.
