If you spent hours of your childhood/ teenage years playing the amazing Rollercoaster Tycoon games, then the upcoming Rollercoaster Tycoon World is going to get you really excited.
Developers Nvizzio have announced that the beta for the highly anticipated game will be coming this weekend, but will only be available to those who pre-order the game.
Starting on Friday, October 30 and running until Monday, November 2, Nvizzio say:
[The beta is a] technical demo focusing on our coaster building system… [it] will show tycoons just a small taste of the sandbox experience and great parks you will be able to build when the game launches.
While the beta won’t give unbridled access to the full game, testers will be able to try out the coaster builder, coaster rider and a host of other features detailed in the game’s blog. If you did pre-order the game, you’ll need to have it activated on Steam, and the download will be around 3GB when the beta goes live.
One more beta test weekend is scheduled before the game’s full release on December 10, though further details are yet to be announced.
