Creative Assembly, the team behind Total War: Warhammer, have teased us with another gorgeous look at the in-game engine. The nearly 11 minutes of video showcases plenty of the campaign mission ‘Battle of Black Fire Pass’ between the human Empire and orc Greenskins.
The scripted battle takes place in the pre-alpha version of the game engine that formed the basis of the Total War: Warhammer E3 press demo. The video includes director’s commentary throughout, as well as an in depth look at the strengths and weaknesses of some of the unit types.
Following in the footsteps of games like Total War: Rome, Atilla and Shogun, Warhammer is shaping up to be one of the best, if not the best title in the franchise. Creative Assembly might just have struck gold with this one.
