May 2016 is over. It’s over man, let it go. But as one month dies, Sony announces the next month’s lineup of free PlayStation Plus games.
It’s the circle of life. So, what will PlayStation Plus subscribers be able to get their hands on for free in the month of June?
PlayStation 4 users can look forward to NBA 2K16 and the excellent Gone Home. One is a game about basketball, the other is a first person adventure/exploration game. I’ll let you work out which is which.
Meanwhile, anyone who still uses their PlayStation 3 can enjoy the cool puzzle title Echochrome, or kick back (behind the sofa) with 12 episodes of survival horror Siren: Blood Curse.
The PlayStation Vita freebies are colourful arcade game Little Deviants, or the less colourful action game God of War: Chains of Olympus. Guess which one is pictured below?
These games will be available for PlayStation Plus members when the store refreshes next week, so this is your last chance to grab May’s games if you haven’t already.
May’s titles included Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Switch Galaxy Ultra, and the brilliant Tropico 5. If any of those sound appealing to you, you’d best get your skates on (metaphorically speaking – of course, all you actually have to do is turn on your console).
Seriously though, Gone Home is well worth checking out – especially if you have the chance to pick it up for free.
Ewan Moore is a journalist at UNILAD Gaming who still quite hasn’t gotten out of his mid 00’s emo phase. After graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BA in Journalism & Media Studies (thanks for asking), he went on to do some freelance words for various places, including Kotaku, Den of Geek, and TheSixthAxis, before landing a full time gig at UNILAD in 2016.
