Battlefield 4’s fulsome Naval Strike DLC pack is now completely free to download across PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
This kind gift is the latest offering from EA’s ‘Road to Battlefield 1‘ campaign. The pack – which originally launched in March 2014 – adds four new multiplayer maps, five new weapons, two gadgets, and a new hovercraft vehicle that works on land and water.
It also introduces the popular Carrier Assault mode, a tribute to Battlefield 2142’s Titan mode.
EA actually made the Naval Strike DLC free for a time back in August 2015, but you needed to be an EA Access member to download it then. Now, any peasant can enjoy it.
The Road to Battlefield 1 campaign has so far seen EA give away Battlefield 4’s Second Assault, and Hardline’s Betrayal add-on.
I would assume that this new offer, like the previous two, will only leave you a week to download for free before the DLC returns to normal price.
If you haven’t already got the above DLC and fancy giving it a spin, you can use the following links for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PS4, and PS3 respectively.
Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 comes out October 21 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We should even be getting a public beta before the end of Summer.
