Not to be outdone by the top secret video game theme park Universal are planning, Ubisoft have announced their plans to build their own gaming-based entertainment world via their blog.

Ubisoft have said they aim to have the park fully operational by 2020, and will build it in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. The indoor park will cover 10,000 square meters and have rides, shows and “other entertainment” based on Ubisoft’s biggest hits. Watchdogs may also  feature.

The devs haven’t detailed what games will actually feature in the park, but it’s a safe bet that the Rabbids of Rayman fame will make an appearance given the success of the Rabbids Time Machine ride at Futurscope theme park in Poiters, France. It is highly likely that Assassin’s Creed, The Crew, Rayman, Prince of Persia and some form of Tom Clancy experience will also be present. Planned to be run by Malaysian them park developers RSG, the park will be overseen by Ubisoft Motion Pictures.

UMP senior vice-president Jean de Rivières has spoken about the project, and what visitors can expect:

Ubisoft’s intention for this park is to immerse people in reactive worlds where they can interact with each other and become the heroes of their own life-sized game. Ubisoft will produce all digital media for the rides, and help design guests’ journey into the park to ensure the visitors’ experience is at its best.

Hopefully the park will launch without bugs, but in true Ubisoft fashion, it might just have one or two delays.
