World Of Tanks Has Dropped On Xbox One With Awesome New Features

By :

The wildly popular Xbox 360 title World of Tanks released yesterday on Xbox One. Developers Wargaming have also included tons of new features, including cross-play and overhauled graphics.

For those who don’t know, World of Tanks is basically a free-to-play World War II shoot ’em up with, you guessed it, tanks. It was a popular title on the 360 after launching in February last year, and was originally released on the PC back in 2011.

The cross-play feature will allow anybody with an Xbox Live Gold Account to play against players using both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. What’s more, if you upgrade from a 360 to an Xbox One, all your progress will go with you completely unharmed.

World of Tanks will also have a brand new Player versus Environment mode called Proving Grounds – where people with no mates can play by themselves against computers with no mates. Mutually beneficial. The game will support full voice chat between Xbox One and Xbox 360, so you can tell your team how useless they are and brag about your all powerful one-hit kill shots. Add a huge slice of updated graphics, and you’ve got yourself a tasty little free-to-play that could end up keeping you busy for quite a while.
