PAKim Kardashian-West has remained largely under the radar since she was held up at gunpoint and robbed in Paris two weeks ago – and apparently that’s not likely to change.
While Kim K has a global reputation for attending glamorous parties and flaunting her body, she has ‘zero desire to resume her old life,’ according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE.
Speaking to the magazine, the source said Kim is ‘still having a difficult time’ after she was bound, gagged and robbed of nearly $11 million worth of jewelry in her hotel room by five masked men, adding that for the most part, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star remains at home in Los Angeles.
While Kanye West is currently on his Saint Pablo tour, he regularly flies back to L.A. in between shows. And according to the source, during the time that West is away, Kim relocates to her mother Kris Jenner’s home with her two kids.
The insider said: “Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do. She has no plans for any public appearances.”
Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, confirmed her sister is ‘not doing great’ during an interview with Australia’s TODAY Extra on Wednesday. She said: “She’s not doing great. I think we’re all really still shaken up.”
And her absence hasn’t gone unnoticed – she’s remained inactive on her social media accounts since the hiest, not posting an Instagram picture in an impressive 18 days.
So while there are inevitably cheers across the globe that a break from the reality star is finally here, we should also remember that just like the rest of us, yes, Kim Kardashian is a human being.
