Stormy Daniels is brewing up a storm! How? Remember when she alleged she had an affair with Donald Trump back in 2006? She’s sort of denied it, but also confirmed it, in a way… I’m not really sure. Bare with me.
Stormy appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Tuesday January 30, to basically talk all things Trump, but before she did, the producers were issued a letter apparently written and signed by Daniels in which she called bulls*** on the alleged affair.
The statement said:
Over the past few weeks I have been asked countless times to comment on reports of an alleged sexual relationship I had with Donald Trump many, many, many years ago.
The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence in 2006, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018. I am not denying this affair because I was paid ‘hush money’ as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying this affair because it never happened.
I will have no further comment on this matter. Please feel free to check me out on Instagram.
Legit? The most elaborate Instagram shout out? Who knows. Not even Stormy Daniels herself, by the looks of things.
Quizzed by Kimmel on whether she signed the letter, she replied:
I don’t know, did I? But that does not look like my signature, does it?
The rest of the interview followed suit. Kimmel asking one thing and Daniels giggling and being dubious about it. They even played Never Have I Ever towards the end, with Daniels basically confirming her side of the alleged affair.
An article in the Wall Street Journal published on January 12, alleges Daniels – real name Stephanie Clifford – was paid a $130,000 (£93,446) gagging order by a Trump lawyer to stop her discussing an alleged sexual encounter with the 45th President of the USA.
Stormy Daniels (going on Kimmel tonight after Trump's State of the Union) issues a new statement saying she is denying having an affair with Trump not because of a settlement but because “it never happened.”

Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has already denied the claims, ‘vehemently’ dismissing any ‘occurrence’ between her and the president.
However, this hasn’t stopped gossip magazine In Touch from delving into the allegation.
While Trump and Daniels have denied any wrongdoing, via a letter released by Cohen last week, In Touch’s interview with Ms Daniels says otherwise.
Daniels’ explosive interview, which was conducted in 2011, reveals intimate details of her and the current POTUS’ illicit liaisons.
In her own words, she all but confirms she and Trump did have sexual intercourse at his hotel suite in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, in 2006 – less than four months after Melina had given birth to their son Barron.
Daniels described her supposed night with Trump as ‘textbook generic’ sex.
She added:
I actually don’t even know why I did it, but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, ‘Please, don’t try to pay me.’
They first met at the American Century celebrity golf tournament in July 2006 where Daniels says:
[Trump] was introduced to everybody. He kept looking at me and then we ended up riding to another hole on the same golf cart together.
She claims the former Apprentice host approached her later at the gift lounge of her adult-film company, Wicked Pictures, and asked for her number, which she gave him, before posing together for a photo op.
Daniels says she accepted his invitation to dinner but when she got to his hotel, Trump was laying on his couch, wearing his pyjamas and watching TV.
The two ended up having dinner in his suite before she went to the bathroom to freshen up and when she came back, she said:
… he was sitting on the bed and he was like, ‘Come here.’ And I was like, ‘Ugh, here we go.’ And we started kissing.
At the time Daniels gave the interview she took and passed a polygraph test – a lie detector test for those of you unfamiliar with the term.
Her account was also confirmed by her friend Randy Spears and ex-husband, Mike Moz.
