A video has been uncovered reportedly of the first time Dana met McGregor.

In the footage, McGregor, who is notoriously known for his bravado and outspoken ways, comes across as humble and down to earth.

The UFC president says, ‘the hype is real’ in reference to Conor’s performance and ability inside the octagon, an eerily accurate premonition of what was yet to come.

He continued:

There’s been a lot of hype – I guess the hype is real man.

People are going f***ing crazy on Twitter.

Dana continues his chat telling the fighter how excited he is to have him on board:

We’ve got a big fight coming up in Boston – you [McGregor] want to fight at the Boston Garden?

McGregor has his trademark Irish flag wrapped around him and Dana reassuringly tells him that UFC will be going to Dublin – his hometown.

Dana continues:

We are going back to Ireland, we’re going to do a fight in Dublin, so you can do Boston and Dublin.

McGregor will have arguably the biggest fight of his career in August when he takes on Flloyd Mayweather in Vegas, in a boxing match.

The Irishman, who is heavily expected to lose the bout – to arguably the greatest boxer of his generation, will reportedly receive the biggest pay cheque of his career.
