Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is associated with hyperactivity, impulsiveness, difficulty concentrating and forgetfulness.

However, a German study involving 30 patients with ADHD who hadn’t found conventional treatments helpful, found that subjects saw significant improvements after cannabis therapy.

In fact, all those taking part in the study reportedly had “improved concentration and sleep” and “reduced impulsivity” after the treatment.

The results were so impressive that 22 of the 30 patients opted to continue using cannabis therapy to treat their symptoms, rather than reverting back to their prescribed pharmaceutical drugs.

People with ADHD have frequently pointed out the medical benefits of cannabis on their symptoms, however the drug is still illegal in the UK, while in the U.S. only two states allow the prescription of medicinal cannabis to treat ADHD.
