Claire Warner posted the picture on her Facebook wall on July 5 soon after being diagnosed with the disease, since then it’s been shared an incredible 16,000 times.

The picture doesn’t show anything particularly dramatic, except from a small bruise under the breast where Warner had her biopsy taken, The Huffington Post reports.

However just hiding under her breast is a tiny dimple which is barely noticeable but is in fact a sign of the deadly disease.

Claire’s now hoping to raise awareness that Cancer isn’t always what you think, saying she never felt a lump or even ill before a friend spotted the small dimple which is her only symptom.

She wrote:

Blink and you’d miss it. I only spotted it thanks to another post shared by an amazing friend.

Claire caught her breast cancer – diagnosed as invasive ductal carcinoma- early but will still have to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy to treat the disease.

Roughly 80 per cent of all breast cancers diagnosed are invasive ductal carcinoma.

Now Claire’s now urging all her male and female friends to check themselves, and to encourage their loved ones to get checked too.

If I can help one other person, the way I was helped, then it’s been worth showing my soon-to-be-reduced left tit to the world.
