As January oozes towards its fourth and final week many of you, myself included, have probably ditched the diets and replaced the post-work gym sesh with three pints in the local.
Now there’s nothing wrong with that – but if you want to see some changes in your body, what you probably need more than anything is some serious motivation right about now.
Enter Imgur user, Isoudw, from France.
Weighing 110kg in his first pic, Isou knew he needed to change so he started working out and counting his calorie intake – nothing more, nothing less.
However what’s amazing about Isou’s story is that he took a photograph of himself every single day over the course of his transformation and the results are mega impressive.
Isou was using a pretty straightforward plan known as a sandwich workout: cardio > weights > cardio – a minimum of three times a week. Simple.
In the beginning Isou admits that he was doing the bare minimum but every week he added more and more time to his cardio and more reps and weight to his, well, weights.
Looking at the before and after pictures from Isou’s transformation you’re probably thinking the whole thing took the best part of a year to achieve but you’d be wrong. From beginning to end the entire physical metamorphosis took just 90 days.
By the end of the video, but certainly not the end of his transformation, Isou had lost 20kg and stacked on a lot of muscle.
