Unsettling footage, recorded by a bystander on Facebook live, shows passersby laughing as a couple fall unconscious on the street after snorting heroin.

The video, which has 1,836,652 views, was taken in broad daylight in Memphis, Tennessee, by Courtland Garner on Monday, the Daily Mail reports.

Garner, who’s rapper name is ‘Supa Kush’, said:

What they were doing was children’s things. It was a spectacle. It made me laugh. They can’t help themselves.

They out here fucked up!!

Garner went on to say that he hoped the video would discourage young people from doing drugs because “all the kids are on social media, and when kids see that video, you know what they are going to say? I don’t want to look stupid like that I don’t want to do those drugs,”

Ironically, ‘Super Kush’, recently released a song called Drug Life where he clutches onto a massive bag of weed and ‘makes it rain’ with drug money (yeah it is as cringe as it sounds).

The couple, Carla Hiers, 59 and her husband are long-time drug addicts, and are seen writhing on the floor after snorting the drug in the bathroom of a nearby pharmacy.

The video is more evidence of America’s out-of-control heroin epidemic.

Karen Morgan, from the drug charity Turning Point Recovery Memphis, said the city was seeing an increase in heroin overdoses.

She said:

People tend to think they’ve done it to themselves. Well no they haven’t. Their brains have been changed by the use of the chemicals.

Hiers was taken into custody and was booked into Shelby County jail, and it is not clear what happened to her partner.

Many people were appalled by Courtland’s passive and inhumane attitude towards the couple.

One commenter wrote: “Dude, hopefully you won’t be in an accident or in need of assistance sometime, but if you do I hope a good samaritan helps instead of just standing there video taping you and laughing – ’cause that’s just fucked up.”

Many others said that videoing them was ‘sick’.
