The last time we saw Chris Moyles he was overweight by all accounts, but now he’s been spotted sporting a seriously dramatic weight loss.
The former BBC Radio One presenter made no stranger of the fact he was concerned about his size and at one stage, was gravely overweight by five stone.
Since his departure from the BBC, the DJ has worked incredibly hard on himself, sticking to a strict diet plan and fitness regime to shed the excess bulk, the Daily Mail reports.
After being snapped outside of Jamie Oliver’s new swanky London restaurant, donning an unbelievably slimmer physique, tongues have been wagging about how he did it…
The presenter believes his breakfast radio show on Radio One, wreaked havoc with his metabolism, causing him to crave fatty foods and consume more calories.
So now, after referring to his previous heavier self as ‘the fat breakfast DJ stage,’ Chris claims his staggering weight loss is all down to his diet and hitting the gym.
GoodToKnow revealed the comedic, northern DJ put away 2,000 calories a day before switching his favourite foods of pizza and ice-cream for fruit and veg.
The 42-year-old who was admittedly a ‘stranger’ to the gym in his ‘fat days,’ now hits the treadmill three times a week as well as lifting weights to tone up his muscles.
The now Radio X presenter told the Metro in 2015:
I’m getting older. If I don’t keep fit I will be dead by the time I am 50.
Aswell as transforming his diet from crisps to quinoa, he’s also enlisted the help of a personal trainer and curbed the after show delicacies of pints and pies.
He explained to the Mirror in 2011:
I’ve got David Haye‘s old trainer who kills me.
I’ve become obsessed. And I watch what I eat now that I’ve had to learn to cook for myself and that takes up a lot of my time, especially if I’m not drinking, which I have been trying not to do lately.
What an inspiration to us all.
Let’s be honest, if Chris Moyles can do it then anybody can…
