Every day it feels as if the world gets a little bit more depressing than it was the day before.
Another nuclear threat here, another famine there, a bomb dropped over here, poverty over there.
Yes, rarely in the 21st century do we turn on the 10 o’clock news and watch as our eyes are greeted with positivity. Sometimes you just need a reminder that humans can be pretty good too.
If, like me, you do need a reminder that a lot of good things happen in the world too – then this video below will sure put a smile on your face.
That was the moment seven-year-old Anu went back to school and shown her friends her new sports blade.
Did they sneer, and point, and whisper? No, they looked on in awe, some even gave her a hug.
Anu had to have her leg amputated shortly after she was born, and though she wears a prosthetic leg most days, her blade is bespoke – and in her favourite colour too.
Seven year old Anu from Birmingham has a sports blade that allows her to run and jump and dance – but he funding to replace the blade as she grows is uncertain.

Revealing what she loves about her blade, Anu told BBC:
It makes me run faster and do my street dancing faster and it’s comfortable.
However Anu’s father is worried that in the future it may be complicated to provide Anu with everything she needs, leading him to even consider selling their house to make sure she has a normal life.
While our government continues to spend billions on nuclear weapons year in, year out – couldn’t a little smidgen of this money be spent on making sure disabled children have exactly what they need to get through life comfortably?
