Michael Bublé’s wife, Luisana Lopilato, has spoken out for the first time after their son Noah was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Three-year-old Noah was tragically diagnosed with liver cancer in November last year, but according to Michael’s brother-in-law, he was ‘doing well’ last month.

Now, after five months of treatment for her son, the Argentinian model and actress has spoken about the horrendous ordeal.

She told the Daily Mail:

Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.

I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love. And I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.

It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject. But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street.

It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.

The 29-year-old mum of two explained how little Noah’s recovery is a ‘long process’ and how he will be required to have check ups, but they are ‘very happy,’with his progress right now.

She added:

We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.

I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family. As a family we were always very united and we fought this together.

Thank heavens the little guy is making a good recovery and will soon be able to get out there and enjoy his life again.

Sending the Bublé-Lopilato family all the well wishes in the world for a speedy recovery for Noah.
