GettyGabourey Sidibe, the star of New York drama Precious, has undergone an incredible weight loss transformation as you can see in her most recent red carpet photo.
The award-winning actress looked almost unrecognisable as she confidentally posed for cameras at Watch What Happens Live.
In the TV show, Sidibe plays an overweight, abused, illiterate teen who is pregnant with her second child in 1987 Harlem.
Here she is showing off her new body and confidence:
The Mirror reports that Sidibe could have lost up to 100 pounds on her weight-loss journey this year.
Sidibe said:
Junior high school is a battlefield. It sucked for me.
High school sucked for me. I didn’t get good with myself until I was like, 25 years old. Tell her to hold strong. Tell her to hold on, but it’ll be worth it, honestly.

The American Horror Story actress, who is part of a new fashion inclusive movement, spoke out about how she deals with online trolls.
Insensitive Radio DJ Howard Stern famously called the actress “the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen,” on his radio show in 2010.
Speaking to Andy Cohen, Sidibe said:
I got a lot of therapy in my life – I champion for therapy. Sit with yourself. You have to figure out what about yourself you love.
I’m still dealing with the haters.
