A whole host of celebrities stripped naked for charity during a live Full Monty performance in London – and some viewers actually complained to Ofcom.
What did people complaining really expect though? Live, Full Monty…
The four people who complained were reportedly outraged after two accidental full-frontal incidents, write the Mirror.
The celebrities – ranging from actors, singers, dancers and a chef – performed a live routine to Tom Jones’ classic ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ in aid of prostate cancer – a mighty good cause, I might add.
TOWIE’s James ‘Arg’ Argent, EastEnders actor John Partridge, The Wanted singer Tom Parker, former footballer John Hartson, chef Ainsley Harriot, TV presenters Jeff Brazier and Dominic Littlewood, former rugby international Ugo Monye, Pointless host Alexander Armstrong and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo all took part.

The gang began their show dressed as policemen, then stripped down to red thongs, which they then whisked off.
Camera angles and lighting tricks were used to try and ensure all modesty was kept, with the exception of bare bottoms, but two celebs taking part showed viewers a bit more than they perhaps bargained for – John Hartson and Dominic Littlewood.
Before the show, Arg revealed he’d been worrying about his body and said he wasn’t comfortable about it.
Shortly before taking to the stage he posted a message to his fans, which read:
There’s been lots of speculation as to whether I am going to go ahead Tonight with The Real Full Monty…My Grandfather Seamus Hanley died of Prostate Cancer 15 years ago.
He was my best friend who I love and looked up to! I’m taking part in this later in honour of him and his memory. I will Not let him, my family, friends and the lads down! I’m not confident in my body or appearance at the moment and finding it hard but it’s not about me, it’s about Beating Cancer and Raising awareness!
So here we go…Tune into @itv NOW. Enjoy!!! Love Arg xxx
There’ll also be a female version of the show which will air on ITV tonight (Thursday, March 29).
Those involved are Loose Women presenter Coleen Nolan, broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire, Emmerdale actress Sally Dexter, reality TV star Megan McKenna, former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, actress Helen Lederer, actress Ruth Madoc and presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford.
Now to the important bit – What are the symptoms of prostate cancer?
Prostate Cancer UK says you’ll usually only get early symptoms if the cancer grows near the tube you urinate through (the urethra) and presses against it, changing the way you wee.
If you do notice changes in the way you urinate, this is more likely to be a sign of a very common non-cancerous problem, called ‘enlarged prostate’ but do get it checked regardless.
Changes include:
- Difficulty starting to urinate or emptying your bladder
- A weak flow when you urinate
- A feeling that your bladder hasn’t emptied properly
- Dribbling urine after you finish urinating
- Needing to urinate more often, especially at night
- A sudden urge to urinate – you may sometimes leak before you get to the toilet.
If prostate cancer breaks out of the prostate (locally advanced prostate cancer) or spreads to other parts of the body (advanced prostate cancer), it can cause other symptoms, including:
- Back pain, hip pain or pelvis pain
- Problems getting or keeping an erection
- Blood in the urine or semen
- Unexplained weight loss.
If you are experiencing these symptoms, it’s important to know they can be linked to other conditions but it’s still a good idea to get checked out by your GP.
