yinacalderonoficial/InstagramA reality star has been left with ‘puffy balls’ in her bum cheeks after having ‘poisonous’ implants removed from her behind.
Yina Calderon shared the shocking results with her 593,000 Instagram followers in a bid to warn others off going through with the bum-enhancing procedure.
Colombian native Yina says she had the implants fitted three years ago because had low self-esteem, and believed it would help improve her confidence.
The 27-year-old has undergone 17 different cosmetic procedures, but knew something wasn’t right when she started to feel unwell after the bum operation.
After having the implants removed, she accused them of being ‘poisonous’ and having a detrimental impact on her health.
Warning her Instagram followers, she wrote:
I hope to serve as an example that in this f*cking life you should never have anything injected into you.
We should say no to strange substances in our bodies, do what I suggest and say no.
This poison kills and it hurts a lot. Thank God for my family, boyfriend and the surgeon for being in this difficult situation with me.
CENAfter having the implants removed, Yina filmed herself having a massage, which is part of a rehabilitation treatment to minimise the damage caused by the implants.
She explained:
These balls in my buttocks are fibrosis not the biopolymers (implants), they are left behind by the surgery I subjected myself to.
Doctors have managed to remove 80 per cent of the gel-like biopolymer implants, meaning approximately 20 per cent is still in her bum cheeks.
Yina continued:
I am feeling much better, but the therapy goes on.
CENBum implant procedures are usually done with silicone implants or by transferring existing fat, or a combination of both. Implants are placed either in the muscle or above the gluteus muscle on each cheek.
The fat transfer procedure is more commonly known as a Brazilian butt lift and is thought to have one of the highest risks of any cosmetic procedure. According to PlasticSurgery.org, the death rate estimated to be one in 3,000.
CENDuring the procedure, fat is removed through liposuction from other parts of the body, and injected into the bum.
Last year, mum-of-three Leah Cambridge, from Leeds, died following a £3,000 buttocks lift at a clinic in Turkey. It’s reported she suffered three heart attacks during the operation.
