Concerns for the Queen’s health grew after Buckingham Palace’s shock announcement that she would not be attending the annual New Year’s Day church service at Sandringham.
The Princess Royal however has spoken to calm the public’s fears, confirming the Queen was feeling ‘better’.
GettyThe Royal family themselves rarely comment on health matters but, as reported by The Telegraph, when asked how her mother was feeling, Princess Anne smiled and replied ‘better’.
When her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence was asked the same question and said: ‘Not too bad’.
