There are serious concerns over the health of a famous model after she posted images of her looking worryingly thin to Instagram.
23-year-old model, Alena Shishkova, was branded ‘anorexic’ and ‘an alien’ after uploading the concerning photos – and a short video, reports The Mirror.
Alena – who has been dubbed ‘Russia’s answer to Megan Fox’ – refutes the claims, saying her figure is down to an active lifestyle, intense work-outs and healthy eating.
However local news sources claim the supermodel has lost an alarming amount of weight over the past twelve months. Reports claimed the 5ft 9ins model weighed 8st 2lbs a year ago, but judging from recent pictures, now weighs a lot less.
One decidedly unhelpful magazine described her as an ‘anorexic alien lookalike’ while readers and fans said Alena’s arms and legs looked ‘like twigs’.
Alena first came into the spotlight after finishing as runner-up in the 2012 Miss Russia beauty contest.
Since then her modelling career has really taken off. She was invited to model at fashion weeks in Moscow, Tokyo and Milan to name a few.
Alena also has a two-year-old daughter, Alisa, although her and her partner, Russian rapper Timati have now separated.
Let’s just hope she’s okay and that if she needs it, she can get the necessary help.
