Woman Loses 9st To Become Sportswear Model With Amazing Diet Tip

A 21-year-old woman transformed her life when she went from being morbidly obese to working as a sportswear model.

Mathilde Broberg from Denmark once weighed in at 121kg, but using the ‘teaspoon diet’ and cutting out junk food, she dropped an incredible 54kg bringing her to 67kg.

She attributes her weight loss success to a technique where she tricked her body into feeling full more quickly by eating only with a teaspoon and ensuring her portions were no bigger than her hand.

Mathilde, who admitted to being an overeater until the age of 16, said:

Before, I would buy all the things you dream of like chips, chocolate, cake, noodles and lots of junk food between meals.

After seeing a picture from our school production, I realised how big I was and knew there was no way I could go to college looking how I did, I knew it would be a living nightmare.

She was at one point consuming 3,500 calories per day and recalled the upsetting moment she was kicked off a roller coaster for being too heavy.

After losing all the weight, she was left with a lot of extra skin, which the Danish government kindly paid $10,000 for her to have removed in a tummy tuck.

She said:

Before the surgery, I felt trapped inside a body that wasn’t really mine, now that my excess skin is gone I feel like I’ve transformed into the real me.

Now she lives the life of a sportswear and catalogue model, which has left a lot of the boys who used to turn her down with their tails  between their legs.

Broberg said:

Out of nowhere I’ve suddenly became interesting to the boys. I’ve turned down a lot of people who have asked me out because if they can’t handle me at my biggest they don’t deserve me now.

Eating with a teaspoon sounds tedious but it seems like an incredibly effective diet, fair play to Mathilde for her incredible transformation!
