Woman With ‘Slug’ Eyebrows After Botched Tattoo Job Gets Them Fixed

I think we can all agree your forehead is possibly the worst place you could ever get a dodgy tattoo.

That’s the lesson 26-year-old Kanyarat Chaichan learned the hard way, after being left with horrific slug-like fake eyebrows, courtesy of an inexperienced tattoo artist.

Following the botch job, in November last year, Kanyarat resigned herself to living life with unsightly 1cm wide fake eyebrows on her forehead because she couldn’t afford treatment to fix them.

Thankfully though, one charitable beauty therapist heard of poor Kanyarat’s dodgy eyebrows and gave her a free course of corrective treatment in Surat Thani, Thailand, on March 21.

Kanyarat will have to wait about six months before she’ll see if her bodged tattooed eyebrows will fade and she may also have to return for further treatments in the future.

She said:

I’m very pleased with the results and grateful for the treatment. I feel much better now, and I think I look a lot more beautiful.

‘I thought I would be stuck with the big eyebrows for the rest of my life. Now I’m just being patient and waiting for them to get better.’

Vilailak Nan Sundantom carried out the treatment uses a combination of micro blading and laser removal.

She said:

There are many places to study to learn how to do tattoo eyebrows. It’s not something that people should play around with.

I could really sympathise with Kanyarat because nobody wants to have eyebrows like that for the rest of their lives.

It was a mistake and this was a very extreme case. I will do my best to help but it will take between three and six months to see the results.

Kanyarat’s not the only person to get a dodgy tattoo in her time, the famous singer Ed Sheeran of all people has a particularly bad one on his arm.

Sheehan decided to have the title of his hit song Galway Girl tattooed on his arm for eternity but unfortunately, it didn’t go to plan.

Ed asked the Oscar-nominated Irish actress, Saoirse Ronan, who appears in the music video for Galway Girl, to write the song title on his arm.

Purposefully though Saoirse opted to write something a little different before it was stained on his skin forever. Galway Grill.

Ed explained:

When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view.

It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the piss out of me — full on.

I haven’t actually told anyone that yet. I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.

Sheeran opened up about his tattoos for GQ last year explaining his favourite by far is the lion on his chest.

He got the lion tattoo after he got his first gig at Wembley admitting he gets a tattoo every time there’s something he’s proud of or wants to remember.
