Boy Saves Brother’s Life Using Skills He Learned From The Rock

When 10-year-old Jacob O’Connor found his little brother lying face-down in their grandma’s swimming pool, he knew exactly what to do – all thanks to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Jacob, from Michigan, has become a local hero after saving the life of his younger sibling, Dylan.

Speaking to news station WXYZ, Jacob explained how his two-year-old brother had wandered outside the house before falling into the water.

The Michigan schoolboy instantly remembered a scene from the disaster movie San Andreas, where The Rock performs CPR on his drowning daughter.

Like a true action hero, Jacob pulled Dylan from the pool and followed Dwayne’s lead by performing the necessary chest compressions.

Dylan’s face had been submerged in the water for almost a minute – not many ten-year-olds could have stayed so calm under such terrifying circumstances…

Thanks to Jacob’s bravery and level-headedness, little Dylan spent just one day in hospital and has made a complete recovery.

The fearless toddler isn’t letting his brush with death stop him from having fun, and is apparently already eager to get back to playing in the pool.

Jacob’s impressive rescue has even reached the ears of his idol, The Rock, who has nothing but the highest praise for the young movie buff, describing him as ‘amazing’:

But perhaps Jacob’s biggest fan is his mum Christa, who told Detroit Free Press :

I just hugged him and squeezed him after i found out what he did – he can watch any Rock movie he wants.
