Everyday you’ve got Trump, North Korea, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, Harvey Weinstein – a seemingly never-ending feed of horrible stuff going on in every square inch of the world.
Imagine then, what it must be like to deliver to audiences, the news of a Royal baby’s due date.
Getty ImagesThis is what the BBC’s Simon McCoy came up against today when news broke Kensington Palace had confirmed the due date of Kate Middleton’s third child.
Watch as McCoy barely makes it through the broadcast without cracking a smile.

Just got this coming in from Kensington Palace: their Royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April.
Now bearing in mind they announced she was pregnant back in September and it was thought she was around two, three months pregnant, I’m not sure how much news this really is?
But anyway, it’s April. So clear your diaries, get the time booked off – cause that’s what I’m doing!

BBCSimon McCoy will almost definitely be sat in a chair commenting on the motionless entrance door of St. Mary’s Hospital for hours and hours, mindlessly obsessing over the intricacies of a new born baby, despite the fact every single one looks identical.
