I seriously doubt you’ve missed it, but the ongoing beef between Kimye and Taylor Swift has been bubbling over again.
Basically, Taylor has been publicly upset with misogynistic lines about her in Kanye’s single ‘Famous’, reports The Independent.
The line she had the biggest problem with was this one – for obvious reasons:
I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.
But, plot twist – a recording of a phone call between Taylor and Kanye recently emerged showing Taylor allegedly okaying the lyrics.
She can be heard saying:
I know, it’s like a compliment, kind of. Yeah, I mean, what’s dope about the line is it’s very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice.
Since then, various people have weighed in on the debate, but none have been more unhelpful, off point and downright offensive than renowned domestic abuser and average musician, Chris Brown.
Brown was sentenced to 12 months in prison for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009, and since his release he has repeatedly asked for forgiveness.
But unfortunately, he really doesn’t seem to be quite the reformed character he’s claiming to be after he posted this to Taylor’s Instagram feed:
Gender related slurs and telling a woman to ‘shut the fuck up?’ You’ve still got a hell of a lot to learn Chris…
