Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, the most beloved Love Island pairing of all time, are reportedly still an item and the truest love ever to be found in reality TV land may not have withered away after all.
This shock twist in the fairytale has come from straight the mouth of the other Danny Dyer; Dani’s father and ultimate Eastenders geezer.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, 41-year-old Danny put romantically inclined minds at ease everywhere when he revealed:
They’ve had a row, she’s got a bit emotional and I think she has whacked that [message] up and immediately regretted it.
You know what women are like… I’m just saying she got a little bit irate, screaming and shouting, the ultimate way to punish him maybe.
I don’t know what was going on but I can tell you now, they’re sweet.
When Jonathan asked Danny to confirm the lovebirds were indeed back on, The Football Factory actor insisted:
They’re sweet as. They’ve had a little argument as we all do, we all have tear ups.
Don’t declare nothing to the world, I’ve told her this. That was my bit of fatherly advice.
It is okay, it is all sweet.
Danny went on to discuss the obstacles the young couple have faced, with their – still very new – relationship being under constant public scrutiny:
You’ve got to respect the fact they were on a TV show, they met on a TV show and the public voted for them…
But actually they are real human beings now and they’ve had to parade themselves in front of cameras but now they need to start sitting back a little bit and concentrate on what is important which is their relationship.
It’s hard enough as it is in a relationship, let alone with cameras [around you]…
Dani caused nationwide devastation when she announced the shock split to her 3.4 million Instagram followers, writing:
Jack & I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible 6 months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly we’ve come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x
A source told The Sun:
When they left the villa they really thought they would stay together forever, but reality soon set in and things started to get strained.
They came out to a whirlwind of publicity and after a while, things started to get to them and the cracks appeared.
They are both incredibly busy and they have decided to call time on their romance.
Although we have yet to hear confirmation from Jack and Dani, this latest news will now doubt bring a little ray of hope to those who have followed their love story over the last few months.
Don’t do this to us again guys, our hearts cannot take it!
