Pretty much bang-on a year later, Ed Sheeran posts his first tweet since he disappeared off social media and needless to say, it’s a little weird.
The singer has made his first appearance back on Twitter-land following his abrupt exit this time last year and his choice of post is unusual to say the least, the Irish Examiner reports.
Instead of posting a classic ‘I’m back’ message, the star opted for a rather mysterious, plain, blue ‘twitter-box’ tweet, with no apparent explanation.
He posted:
Lat year, he ominously posted online to say that he would be taking a break from social media for a while, explaining that he would rather feel free to live his life rather than ‘seeing the world through a screen’. Fair enough.

The whole thing is extremely bizarre and confusing and it doesn’t look like we’ll get to the bottom of it anytime soon…
