The Inbetweeners and I’m A Celeb star Emily Atack has put fat shaming trolls in their place, telling them to ‘go and fuck yourself’.

The 29-year-old attended the star-studded Brit Awards last night, an event obviously much more glamorous than spending three weeks in the Australian jungle.

Emily was dressed the part and looked stunning in a white, figure-hugging dress with a thigh-high split, which she showed off proudly on Instagram in a post ahead of the event.

Many of the actor’s fans were quick to compliment her look, but among the adoring commenters were some trolls who couldn’t resist throwing in insults about her body.

One comment read:

when pizza night is your world……am I right?

While another troll wrote:

Watch the tummy.

Many Instagram users responded to the hurtful comments and stuck up for Emily, but she made it clear she could handle the situation.

Taking to Twitter to both thank her fans and respond to the haters, Emily began quite politely, but then changed track after presumably having decided there was only one way to get through to the trolls.

She wrote:

To all the lovely comments lots of you say to me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To those who continue to call me fat.. have a wonderful evening, and then go and fuck yourself. All the best. X

It will never fail to confuse me as to why people take time out of their day to criticise people they don’t know, and who have literally no affect on their own life. I think Emily had the perfect response to her haters!

After returning to civilisation following her appearance on I’m A Celeb, the actor addressed comments which had been made about her body while she was in the jungle.

She took to Instagram to promote body confidence and pledged she’d never use a slimming app again, writing:

Morning mud crabs. Just catching up on everything. I am back in London! Can’t believe the amount of articles & comments about my bod. Some good, some bad.

I will never EVER use a Slimming App ever again. We are all different shapes & sizes. We are all unique.

Some have rock hard abs, some have a bit of Jam Roly-poly, it’s all ok!!

Everyone should take note of Emily’s inspirational views towards body shape, and as for the trolls, hopefully they’ll find a more productive and positive way to spend their time in the future.
