Enrique Iglesias just shared the first photograph of his newborn baby twins with Anna Kournikova, and it’s all kinds of cute.
The 42-year-old singer and the 36-year-old former tennis pro welcomed the twins exactly one month ago and to mark the teeny tiny anniversary, the couple have shared their offspring with the world.
In the interest of sharing, they each got to post one picture of one twin.
Two hours ahead of Kournikova, Igelsias shared this sleepy selfie with one of his two children with his 12 million Instagram followers.
Anna followed suit for her 700,000 followers a few hours later, with this delightful offering.
Adobrably, both photographs were captioned, ‘My sunshine’.
Is it favouritism? Is it setting the twins, named Nicholas and Lucy, up to be a pro athlete or the melodic voice of a generation?
Who cares?
It’s so godd*mn adorable.
The longterm couple, who are widely praised for keeping their private life private, surprised everyone with the news they had welcomed twins on December 16, having managed to keep the pregnancy under wraps.
Enrique and Anna have been together for 16 years since meeting on the set of the crooners’s music video for Escape.
You can watch the very moment in the video below, if you fancy a bit of voyeurism:
The Hero singer and the Moscow-born former tennis player had no immediate plans to wed, even though people insist on speculating over their non-nuptials in the gossip columns.
The shared a photograph last month, covering her baby bump by sporting a waterproof emblazoned with her husband’s name, in a bizarrely sweet American high school rom-com throwback.
Thanks to that unbelievable gene pool, there was ‘no filter needed’:
Despite never winning a singles title, Kournikova reached No. 8 in the world in 2000, but was forced to end her pro career prematurely at the age of 21 due to back injury.
Meanwhile, Enrique is still releasing music, with the latest collaboration featuring Bad Bunny, titled EL BAÑO being shared to YouTube five days ago.
Friend and fellow tennis star, Serena Williams also welcomed a tiny athlete into the world at the end of last year.
Williams – athlete, feminist, legend, activist, and now, mother – announced her pregnancy with a powerful nude photo shoot on the cover of Vanity Fair, and later gave birth on September 1, amid serious complications, and having won the Australian Open over her sister Venus while eight weeks pregnant.
But after a week stuck in hospital, Serena and her fiance, Alexis Ohanian, the founder of Reddit, headed home to get to know their daughter.
Alexis, shared his joy and admiration for Serena on TV:

Unlike her camera-shy friends, Enrique and Anna, it didn’t take Alexis and Serena long to set up an Instagram account for little baby Alexis Olympia Jnr – and she already has more followers than you, probably.
Presumably, she didn’t use her newfound opposable thumbs to set up her account on the oh-so addictive social media picture sharing platform herself, considering she doesn’t yet have the power of language – or the power to lift up her own head.
Far be it for us to criticise the parenting styles of celebrities whose lives exist behind closed doors.
Congratulations to them all!
